1. Different rights in different material
Original human-authored material, commissioned contributions, stock, press media, Creative Commons works, public-domain material and synthetic images have different rights and conditions. Ownership, license and attribution must be assessed for each item; inclusion on this website does not give a reader unrestricted reproduction rights.
2. Permission and permitted uses
A search result, social-media post, press link or credit does not automatically permit copying. Check territory, term, publication channels, alteration and attribution conditions. Editorial-only permission may not cover advertisements. The photograph’s rights and any depicted person’s, trademark or property rights are separate; a release is assessed for the actual use.
3. Quotations and legal exceptions
Linking and uses permitted by applicable law remain available. Fair use and other exceptions depend on context; there is no universal permitted word count or image percentage. Attribution alone does not establish an exception. Permission is needed where no applicable exception or sufficient license covers the use.
4. Synthetic illustrations
An AI illustration is not evidence that a product, person, location or event exists as depicted. Not every AI output qualifies for copyright; human authorship, tool terms and other rights matter. JLuxu’s copyright footer does not claim exclusive rights to unprotected elements. See AI and synthetic content policy.
5. Licensing and concerns
Permission for protected material must come from a party entitled to grant it and cover the intended use; a contributor’s individual agreement remains relevant. Direct publication-related requests to Alvau LLC at the address in Publisher and legal notice, or use Reporting and copyright complaints. Sending a request does not itself grant a license.
